FRIENDS Ziggy would like to think they're pretty easy to get along with - or at least, pretty easy to not really care about? Friends are a dime a dozen, a quick encounter, maybe a few hours of fun and inspiration for a new painting. A lot of people want something off them, or they just want something off them, once that's done you don't need to see each other again - like buying a new set of paints, or a muffin. Ok, so maybe they're a little burned from Orre and fame they don't think about too hard, dude's still pretty easy going and can be roped into some real shenanigans. ENEMIES The no fun allowed types, those who don't give bugs a chance, neat freaks and strict schedulers. Basically anyone who would be a downer on Ziggy's 'free spirit' (read: fickle and selfish nature). Really, he's bound to have a faaaair share of enemies - haters gonna hate. Isn't he a big deal on the art scene? Also a Gym Leader. Ziggy is pretty sure the paparazzi have a good time reporting on his personal life. Ah, whatever, plenty of people are bound to be jealous or hateful of his art and skills, and how wasteful he can be. That, and he rarely remembers most people's names. LOVERS That sounds suspiciously like effort they don't want to put in. The line between friendship and romance is one they constantly seem to accidentally dance around, much to other's distress. They rarely if ever seek out a more romantic relationship - it's very obvious when they do, since their own obliviousness makes them work double hard to show their interest. Besides, they're much too messy and selfish to have a proper relationship, why should they both wasting money and energy, right? |

Jenny Carter + Ziggy MoonI like the idea of the two of them having a cute awkward encounter. Maybe Jenny comes to the gym to watch how a gym leader's Pokemon behaves but really just ends up trying to figure Ziggy out. I think they could both be art buddies and maybe that's how they stay friends, through their mutual love of art.

Ziggy Moon + Leona ChambersHonestly, I'm stoked for the gym leader battle. Ziggy seems like such a good (if lackadaisical) role model, and I feel like he could teach Leona a thing or two about not being so snooty with other people. I feel like they won't get along well upon a first meeting, but they could warm up to one another as friends over time!

I'm not sure how close they would ever be, but I could see them as friendly acquaintances? Or at least friendly colleagues, since they're both Gym Leaders. Ziggy is only a year older than Laurel, but since she's so totally childish, I could see her looking up to them quite a bit. She'd probably find their personality very entertaining and try to see what kind of reactions she could get out of them.

Don't let the other leaders let you hear you think Zigs is a good role model choice! They already have someone they call Princess, so Leona would need something new... A proud lil Litleo, maybe. I think their initial impression would be 'kid's gonna get punched out and probably could use it', solidifying into 'shit, kid's gonna get herself killed, I should do something'. Throw in a 'this isn't my first rodeo' and some other corny Western sayings and so grows a... well, it's a relationship of some kind. The kind that doesn't get Leona killed. Hopefully.
I'd personally think it'd be great if she lost at least one of her attempts at Ziggy's gym. Maybe have that bratty, hates-to-lose attitude be her downfall, but show her more generous and determined side through the cracks of defeat?
Hey, Ziggy knows a thing or two about having a shady past but still becoming famous, maybe they should talk to Leona's pareeeeeno that's a bad idea let's not. Sure, they're a gym leader, and known artist but uh... even with the majority of their past under wraps, their few years in Kalos gym leadership has already gotten quite the less than stellar commentary on their personality. Maybe if Leona just like, ommits a few minor details, and just say she's studying under a famous artist that takes her traveling... yeah, that's workable, right? Keep the parents from getting too angry she's in the League?

These two are totally going to become chummy, they'll need one another for pokemon issues since they're not only gym leaders but experts in two far ranging types! I mean she's already been teleported into one of Ziggy's problems already, I think Petal is stuck with 'em. And yessss, shit stir the shit stirrer, give Ziggy a run for his money - they're quite full of energy despite their seemingly lazy attitude!
